What we publish
Travel guides, itineraries, transport and cost explainers, neighbourhood and attraction guides, and timely visitor notices such as events, closures and rule changes.
Accuracy and sources
- Facts such as prices, opening hours, addresses and rules are taken from official or primary sources, which we link to in the article.
- Time-sensitive pages show when they were last checked and are reviewed as things change.
- We do not copy other websites. We add our own explanation, routes, comparisons or photos.
- We leave out rumours and details we cannot verify.
Who is responsible
Best of Istanbul is published by Vatansever. We use AI tools to help research, draft and edit articles. Every article is reviewed and approved by Vatansever before publication, and facts such as prices, opening hours and rules are checked against official sources. Family members who know Istanbul well also help check details and contribute to our guides.
Recommendations and independence
- We do not accept payment for positive coverage. Any sponsored content would be clearly labelled.
- Hotel and venue pages summarise publicly available information. We do not invent guest reviews.
